Morgan's First Easter

I know this post is more than a month late, but better late than never, right? =0)

We had so much fun celebrating Easter this year with our little cutie. Morgan, of course, didn't understand what was going on, but she enjoyed spending so much time playing outside. The day before Easter we went to Lagrange to visit "Aunt B" and "Uncle D" and attend their annual "Eggstravaganza". Morgan had fun entertaining everyone and playing with all the big kids. She even got to fish. Okay, well she held a fishing pole for the first time. =0)

Sunday morning we woke up to treats from the Easter bunny!

After breakfast, and a reading of the Easter story by daddy, we got ready and went to church.

Apparently the "thing" to do in Opelika is to walk over to the fountain after church to take pictures. Well, I was unaware, but I had planned to do that so we hung around a church a little to let the crowd disperse before we made our way over with Miss Priss. The fountain was dyed purple for the "Paint the Town Purple" Relay for Life campaign. I thought it added a fun, festive touch. This is the same fountain where Steve proposed to me so it was funny that just a few years later we were back with our sweet baby. My how life has changed!

Once our photo shoot was over, we grabbed some lunch, went home for Sunday afternoon naps, and then enjoyed spending some time outside as a family watching Morgan have fun exploring in the back yard.
