The World's Greatest Aunt!

I have always wanted to learn how to sew, but have never taken the time to do anything other than sew on a button. My Aunt Madeline, on the other hand, is a fabulous seamstress! When she found out that Steve and I were pregnant, she started hoping for a girl so she could smock for her. Well, a few weeks later her wish came true and she has held to her end of the bargain. Here are the latest "treats" she sent us:

Movin' On Up

I've put off posting this as long as I can. Steve and I are moving! We put our townhouse up for sale in May of last year and thought it would sell soon afterward, but thankfully our timing is not God's timing. Many things have changed for us since then that have led us to the perfect house for us for now at least. I'm looking forward to moving in a few weeks (even though I won't be too much help!) and decorating Morgan's nursery.

The packing has begun thanks to my fantastic, excited, and bored hubby!

My favorite box label so far! Do you think he's already wrapped around her little finger? =-)

My New Best Friend

I have decided that Craigslist is my new best friend. We found a post on Craigslist from a lady selling a Boppy bouncer after we had just registered for one. I contacted her about it and ended up with a lot more goodies. Her son is only seven months old and has already outgrown all of these things. I hate to see perfectly good (and clean!) items go to waste so we decided to take some things off her hands.
Here are pictures of a few things we've gotten for little Miss Morgan...

A play mat, Bumbo, and a Boppy bouncer

All of these items cost us a grand total of $120! Plan early, save lots! I can't wait to see what other treasures we'll be able to find.

Here Goes Nothing

I have a confession to make... I am a blog stalker! I get excited every time I see that one of my friends has a blog update, but I've never thought that our lives were interesting enough to share. Then I started thinking and realized that I like the posts that talk about "nothing" almost as much as I love the detailed ones so I decided to give it a shot. I'm not making any promises as to how often this will get updated, but I will do my best.
