A House Divided

Growing up in the South, football is a way of life. Game day Saturdays are even more intense around our home since we live the life of a house divided. Steve and I are both extremely competitive and we're die-hard fans... for state rivals. What does this mean for our precious little one? We're going to let her decide, but I whisper "War Eagle" in one ear while her father is whispering "Roll Tide" in the other. This sweet baby gets to change clothes on Saturdays when AU and UA have different kick off times, but so far her daddy has been out of town several Saturdays so I get to dress her. Steve and I made a pact that we were not going to purchase things representing either team for her, but we wouldn't turn down things that were given to us. Here are some pictures of her sporting items for both teams.

I have to admit that this is one of my favorite pictures of my two sweeties despite their attire.

Morgan and Zac, one of her cousins

Morgan and Anna Kate, another cousin
Anna Kate was so sweet with "Baby Morgan" when they came to visit last weekend. Morgan studied every move she made and they became fast friends. I'm sure they'll make many memories together in the years to come.

Looks like an AU cheerleader to me.

"Warrrrrrrr Eagle, Hey!"

Number 1!

My new favorite picture of my sweet angel.
